Updated U.S. Shipping Policy — Jan 2025

All applicable import tariffs and duties will be covered by Tanielle Jai and included in the total price at checkout. Customers will not be required to make any additional customs or tariff payments upon delivery. This applies to USA orders only. All other international orders are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis — see the International Orders section below.

Signature Required for U.S. Orders Over $400

To ensure the security of higher value shipments, all U.S. orders over $400 AUD are shipped with Signature Required Delivery.

Signature Required Delivery includes:

  • A signature upon delivery to confirm receipt
  • Full shipping insurance
  • Secure handover directly to you or an authorised person at your address

This method helps guarantee that your parcel is delivered safely and minimises the risk of loss or theft.

Important Notice

For U.S. orders over $400, packages will not be left unattended and delivery cannot be completed without a signature. For orders under $400, standard delivery applies and parcels may be left in a safe location at the carrier's discretion. Tanielle Jai is not responsible for parcels left unattended for orders under $400.

Insurance & Claims

In the rare event of loss or damage during transit, your order will be eligible for replacement or refund once the courier’s investigation has been completed and approved.

Important Notice

Tanielle Jai is unable to offer non-signature delivery for U.S. orders. Packages will not be left unattended, and delivery cannot be completed without a signature. This policy is in place to protect both our customers and the integrity of each order.

SHIPPING POLICIES

Processing times for your order
Our order processing timeframe is typically 1–3 business days, extending to up to 2 weeks during launch periods and promotional sales. Please be mindful that orders placed across long weekends and public holidays may take a little longer to process.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with shipping and tracking details so you can follow your parcel.

Express Shipping Disclaimer & No Refund Policy

By selecting and purchasing express shipping at checkout, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Third-Party Carrier Responsibility  
All express shipping services are fulfilled by Australia Post. Once your order has been dispatched and handed over to Australia Post, we no longer have control over delivery timeframes, processing, or delays.

2. No Guarantee of Delivery Timeframes  
While express shipping is designed to prioritise faster delivery, estimated delivery timeframes provided by Australia Post are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Postal network congestion  
- Sorting facility delays  
- Weather conditions  
- Fuel supply disruptions  
- Flight cancellations or transport issues  

3. No Refunds on Express Shipping Fees  
We do not offer refunds, credits, or reimbursements for express shipping fees in the event of delays caused by Australia Post or any external factors once the parcel has been dispatched.

4. Order Processing Times  
Our responsibility is to process and dispatch your order within our stated handling timeframe. Once your order has been lodged with Australia Post, the shipping service and delivery timeframe fall under their responsibility.

5. Acceptance of Terms  
By selecting express shipping, you accept that delivery timeframes are estimates only and that delays outside of our control do not qualify for a refund of shipping costs.

If you require further information regarding shipping delays, we recommend contacting Australia Post directly with your tracking number for the most accurate updates.

Can you change your order
If you need to modify your order, please contact us as soon as possible info@taniellejai.com. We process orders quickly, and once your order has been fulfilled and a tracking link has been issued, we will no longer be able to make any changes.

Changes to Your Shipping Address
We are unable to modify your shipping details once a tracking number has been assigned to your parcel. If you need to update your address, please email us immediately at info@taniellejai.com. After a tracking number is issued, it becomes the customer’s responsibility to coordinate redelivery with the address provided in the original order.

SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA

Standard Shipping
All orders are shipped via Sendle or Australia Post courier services and are subject to the provider’s delivery timelines.

Estimated delivery times via Australia Post Parcel Post:

  • Same state: 2–4 business days
  • Interstate: 3–6 business days

Deliveries to regional Australia, WA, and non-metropolitan locations may take longer depending on the area and courier network.

Standard shipping is charged at a flat rate of $10 for orders under $200. Free standard shipping applies to all Australian orders over $200.

Express Shipping
All express orders are sent via Australia Post Express Post.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Same state: 1–2+ business days
  • Interstate: 1–3+ business days

Express shipping is $16.95 for packages under 1kg and $24.95 for larger orders.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Taxes, International Duties and Tariffs
Your order may or may not be subjected to local duties and taxes. Tanielle Jai is NOT responsible for any international duties or tariffs applied to our shipments, which may effect arrival times for orders. As the recipient of the item, you are responsible to pay for any taxes and duties levied by the country you are shipping to.

Standard International Shipping
For international orders, Standard shipping rates apply at a flat rate of $25AUD for orders under $200AUD, Free Standard shipping for orders over $200 complete with tracking and delivery confirmation. Please check your junk mail for mail updates from info@taniellejai.com.

All orders are shipped via Australia post please allow the following time frame for shipments:

  • Zone 1 - New Zealand (10-16 working days)
  • Zone 2, 3 & 4 - Asia and the Pacific, North America and Western Europe (10-28 working days)
  • Zone 5 - Rest of the world (14-35 working days)

Australia Post and International Local Delivery Services
We ship standard international orders with Australia Post, once landed in your country they will hand over to your local Courier company (for USA: USPS, UK: Royal Mail etc). Your Australia Post tracking number can be used with these companies also. You can arrange for more detailed updates with your local Postal company through their website using the Australia postal Service tracking number. Please check your junk mail if you cannot find your email update. Often tracking emails can go into your junk mail. The sender will be info@taniellejai.com.

EXPRESS USA & International Orders
Express Orders are either delivered through Australia Post or DHL. Express orders to Overseas countries are approx 3-7 working days depending on the region.

Express shipping to the USA typically takes between 3–10 business days. 

USA, Canada, UK & NZ
For international orders to USA, CAD, UK and NZ, Express shipping rates apply at a flat rate of $32 AUD for orders under $190 AUD, $40 shipping for orders over $190 complete with tracking and delivery confirmation. Please check your junk mail for mail updates from info@taniellejai.com.

Other regions

Working day
A working day refers to any day in which normal business operations are conducted. In Western countries, this is generally considered to be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time and excludes weekends and public holidays.

DELAYS, LOST PARCELS AND REDELIVERY

DURING PEAK & SALE PERIODS: Please Expect Delays
Thank you for shopping with us! Due to the high volume of orders during busy periods, please expect some delays in processing and shipping. We are working hard to fulfill all orders as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Parcel is Delayed
Occasionally, delays can happen that are beyond Tanielle Jai's control. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, please contact the shipping carrier directly with your tracking number, as they’ll have the most up-to-date information. If you still need assistance, feel free to reach out to us at info@taniellejai.com, and we’ll be happy to help with any unresolved queries.

Parcel is Lost
If a package is showing delivered by the carrier but you have not received it and believe it was misdelivered, Please contact the shipping carrier first with your tracking number to get the latest updates. If you’re still experiencing issues or have further questions, contact us at info@taniellejai.com, and we’ll assist you from there.

However, once the tracking shows delivered, we are no longer responsible for the package and will not offer refunds or replacements if stolen.

Redelivery and Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for checking their email and tracking information, including their junk or spam folders, to ensure they have the necessary tracking details. It is also the customer’s responsibility to contact their local postal service to arrange redelivery if the first attempt was unsuccessful or to pick up the parcel from the designated postal centre. Tanielle Jai is not responsible for parcels that are not collected within the timeframe specified by the local postal service. Refunds will not be issued for parcels returned to Tanielle Jai due to non-collection. However, We can arrange redelivery at the customer's expense. 

If a parcel is returned to us due to non-collection (where the customer failed to track or collect their order), the following restocking fees will apply: USA orders will incur a restocking fee of 10% of the order subtotal (excluding shipping) plus $10 AUD. All other international orders will incur a flat restocking fee of $10 AUD. These fees will be deducted from any refund issued.

Shipping Restrictions

We are currently unable to ship to the following countries: Israel, Kenya, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Russia.

Additionally, we are unable to ship to countries under UN embargo, including: Syria, Iran, Cuba, North Korea, and Sudan.

Customs Duties, Taxes & Refused Shipments

All international orders (excluding the USA) are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means that any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees are determined and charged by your country's customs authority and are not included in the total price at checkout. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid upon delivery.

If a customer refuses to pay these customs fees and the shipment is returned to us, the following conditions apply:

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • A restocking fee of $10 AUD will be deducted from any refund to cover the costs associated with the return process.
  • Refunds will only be issued for the product cost (minus the above fees) once the item has been received and inspected by our team, which may take up to 6 weeks depending on international return times.

Please note that refusal to accept delivery does not constitute a change of mind return, as our policy states we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
